Happy September!

Happy September Friends! I can feel the air changing even though it is still hot and muggy here in L.A.   School has started and Summer is over.  I LOVE Summer and so this time of year always comes to fast for me.  However, I do love Fall. I love the weather, the trees changing (yes, trees change even in L.A. LOL) and all the colors. Fall colors are my favorite.  I pretty much live with those colors all year so decorating for Fall is a no brainer for me.

A Perfect Reminder.....

Here is one of my favorite new items this Fall.  Micah 6:8 Block Wall Decor ~ Distressed white letters on rich wood,  measures 15 1/2" L x 10 1/2" W. Hand-crafted in India.

Recently I have been memorizing this verse so I could not but help think it was just meant for me. LOL   The full verse is: Micah 6:8

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. 

To act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with my God.  I just love that. Whenever I am feeling off centered I recite that to myself and I feel right on track again. Isn't it amazing how our God works that way in us? I am so grateful that He does.  So for me, this is a must have in my home as a daily reminder for me to show others the same grace the Lord has given and continues to give to me and to not be arrogant and think i am "greater" than I am.  It's all good! Filling my home with loving reminders not only helps me but my husband and my boys as well.  This is such a beautiful piece and I am so happy Blessings Unlimited found it.

Welcome to Sharing His Blessings

Welcome to Sharing His Blessings, a blog to share and praise Blessings from the Lord!  The past few years of my life have been extremely challenging.  My husband was laid off his job in 2008 and was out of work for almost 2 years.  Consequently, our finances took a huge hit.  During those almost 2 years I learn a lot about God's Grace and His millions of Blessings.  I have story after story of how the Lord worked in our lives through others to keep us going spiritually, financially, emotionally, etc.  I had  one of the most beautiful Christmas's in my entire life that year.  Thanks to my precious friend Andy, her beautiful heart and amazing co-workers.  I will tell you that story someday.

The Blessings were coming fast and strong everyday.  The word "blessed" became so important to me and had so much effect on me.  I lived in the thought of, "I am so richly blessed".  It became my mantra.  

In 2010 after Eddie (my husband) went back to work on an amazing job opportunity, praise God, I started looking around for a way to earn extra money for us.  One day I was Googling direct sales company's and I found one called Blessings Unlimited.  There was that word...blessings.  As I looked around their website I found some of the coolest stuff.  Then I realized that every single item had an inspirational message or a bible verse. 
Then, I read this,

I was hooked!  The chance to put the Word of God into the hands of someone who may have never ever read any of it before was so exciting to me!  The inspirational words and the various items we can use daily that would always give us the lift we might need really touched my heart.   Shortly after that I became a Blessings Unlimited Consultant and the rest is, as they, history!
